By accessing or using SMTPTester ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

SMTPTester is provided as a free diagnostic tool for testing SMTP servers you are authorised to test. You agree not to use the Service to probe servers without authorisation, brute-force credentials, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or any other unlawful activity.

3. Fair use

We reserve the right to rate-limit or block requests that we deem abusive. Reasonable interactive use by an individual or team is welcome; automated scraping is not.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Test results are informational. You are responsible for interpreting them and configuring your own systems accordingly.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMTPTester and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

6. Intellectual property

All branding, copy, and design on this site is the property of SMTPTester. The diagnostic engine is released under an open-source license; see the repository for details.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
